A Birmingham 1924 Sterling Silver Cigarette / Cigar Table Box Portasigari  da tavolo  

Beautiful  plain nicely threaded rectangular body, with hinged engine-turned decorated lid with a monogrammed round cartouche in the middle. It has a cedar wood-lined interior with no  dividers. The monogram is CLR. There is also a dedication in the front of the lower part of the box.

It is in very good condition with a couple of dents on the lid and minor dents on the edges . There are not breakages or soldering to the silver. The hinges are in good condition and work properly, the lid  closes properly.

It is hallmarked both on the lid and on the main body. The maker’s initials are not readable  and the hallmarks are for Birmingham 1924.

The dimensions of this top quality silver table box are 14.5 cm x 13.5 cm x  3.5 cm.
