Antique Lily Pattern Silver Plated Crumb Tray  

A rare Antique Silver Plated Crumb Tray in the sought after Victoria Lily Pattern, Mappin Brothers c1870’s

This is a beautiful large crumb tray. The tray is engraved with a rococo scroll, the handle is in the lily pattern to match a Lily cutlery service.

It is marked MB Mappin

Beautiful details, very good condition.

Due to its shape and its unusual handle for a crumb tray, it is suitable to be used as cake slicer or server.

It is 32 cm long and 8 cm wide.

Raccoglibriciole  Sheffield nel decoro Lily, realizzato da Mappin Brothers c1870.  Bellissimo dettagli e condizioni molto buone con qualche segno del tempo. Per la sua forma, per il manico particolare e per le sue dimensioni può essere utilizzato come paletta da dolce.

Each knife is 26.1 cm long. Each blade is approx 16 cm x 2.4 cm

Each handle is 10.1 cm long

Total weight 605 gr.

Very good condition, sharp blades and shining, with few little spots in some of them. The silver plate handles have no wear.  Each handle bears an oval un-monogrammed cartouche.

These knives are suitable  for any pattern. They looks great with  Old English pattern, Albany pattern, Queen Anne pattern  and Onslow pattern.
