Art Deco Silver Plate Cocktail Martini shaker Wilhelm Wolff, Pforzheim Germany

Art Deco Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker by Wilhelm Wolff, Pforzheim around 1925s 1930s  marked on the bottom Wolff in the oval, “W” in the circle with underline, Alpacca,  0.7 l  with the number 20 which is reported also on the strainer.  This shaker is in excellent condition, very little used, is an elegant piece. Beautiful original silverplating. No dents, no scratches.

The Wilhelm Wolff company was founded by Ernst Wolff in Pforzheim in 1894 and produced all kinds of quality silverplated goods, in particular photo frames, cutlery as well as cups and mugs for prizes and special gifts.   The company was converted into a public limited company in 1914. Ludwig Hummel bought the company in 1939 and was converted into a GmbH while retaining the company name. In 1980 Wolff KG stopped production.
