Bellissimo calamaio del XIX secolo, di legno e metallo, a forma di Commode Luigi XV. Esso comprende il vasetto per l’inchiostro, lo spargi sabbia, ina vaschetta porta oggetti, due porta penne. e il porta candela. Il cassettino di legno serve a contenere la ceralacca. Oggetto raro e da collezione, in buone condizioni. Qualche piccolo restauro è presente sulla superficie lastronata, e il porta candela può darsi avesse un piccolo manico.

Nineteenth Century Wood and Metal Inkstand in the Shape of a Louis XV Commode.

This beautiful item consists in a bean shaped veneered commode,  with four brass feet and a central drawer for sealing wax,  which represents the inkstand where metal inkwell, sand shaker, container for nibs, pen holders, and candlestick are inserted.

It is an unusual collectable item in  good condition. It has some minor restorations at the veneered surface and the candlestick maybe had a finger rest.

Dimension  15 cm wide;  10,5  cm deep; 7,5 cm tall
