Caraffa di vetro soffiato di Boemia, smaltata con scena di caccia al cervo

Antique Huge Bohemian Jug, beautifully enameled with a deer hunting scene in a snowed forest. The hunter is dressed in white trousers and green jacket and hat, which he waves proudly for having (sadly) shot to death the deer, which is falling on the snowed ground in front of him.

The glass is blown and has small air bubble inside, and is of an amber turning to green colour. The jug has beautiful grand proportion. The handle has a finger stop at its top. At its base there are parallel gilt rims, and a gilt rim at the top too. Gold is anyway worn. The enamel is in very good condition with no significant wear. The glass has not chips or cracks.

Jug is 33.5 cm tall, has a base diameter approx 13 cm, a top diameter approx 8 cm and a maximum width approx 18 cm
