Coppia posate sardine antipasti Sheffield Queen Pattern Sardines Servers c1890

Fantastica coppia di posate da sardine, nel decoro Vittoriano Queen 0 Rosette, uno dei più belli in assoluto della serie king shape. Si tratta di due posate di eccellente fattura, con delicate ed eleganti incisioni sulla paletta e sulla forchetta. Nate per servire sardine e simili, sono comunque utilizzabili per qualsiasi genere di antipasto in una tavola elegante, ed hanno un elevatissimo valore decorativo.

Dimensioni 13 cm x 4 cm ciascuna, peso 34 grammi ciascuna.

Sono state realizzate a Sheffield dalla ditta Atkin Brothers verso il 1890.

Stunning pair of sardine servers, in the Victorian Queen or Rosette pattern, one of the most beautiful of the king shape series. They are  two excellent pieces, with delicate and elegant incisions on the scoop and on the fork. Intended to serve sardines, they can still be used for any kind of starter in an elegant table, and have a very high decorative value.

Made in Sheffield by the Atkin Brothers,  circa 1890’s.
