Fine Antique Italian 800 Silver Filigree Pill Box Portapillole in filigrana di Argento

A small early 20th century .800 silver filigree box, very nice shape.

Beautifully hand crafted and decorated with intricate peacock tail details on the lid and a central flower on the base, where the hallmarks are (800 and an unreadable mark).  Both the lid and the base have a beautiful border. The interior of the intricate work is gilt.

The clasp is on the lid, with thumb piece, and the hinge is in perfect order and working condition. The box close properly and is in excellent condition.
