Rare and elegant Georg Nilsson coffee pot marked Gero for the Danish Gero factory situated in Copenhagen which opened in 1922 and transferred in 1933 to Zeist in the Nederland.

Georg Nilsson was working for Georg Jensen when he was nominated as designer at  the Danish Gero Factory. The pieces produced by the Danish Gero factory were for the Danish market and very distinctive in their design.

This coffee pot  has a hammered body with two beaded lines  and a typical decoration of the handle and the finial. The spout and the lid are hammered as the main body.

Very good condition. No dents; the hinged lid is perfectly in order and closes properly. No wear, unless on the beaded lines and little on the base. There is some wear inside.

Originale e rara caffettiera realizzata da Georg Nilsson verso negli anni Venti  in Danimarca per la ditta GERO fondata a Copenaghen nel 1922 e trasferitasi a Zeist in Olanda nel 1933

La caffettiera ha una linea elegante. Ha un corpo martellato  separato da due linee perlate.  Manico con caratteristica decorazione, così come il pomello sopra il coperchio. 

Condizioni

Condizioni molto buone. Non presenta ammaccature,  la cerniera del coperchio è perfettamente in ordine e funzionante. Argentatura in ottimo stato di conservazione, con segni nelle linee perlate.  L’interno ha  qualche abrasione.
