Bellissimo e raro  set di cucchiaini disegnati da Georg Nilsson in stile Art Nouveau per la ditta olandese GERO. Nei sei cucchiani sono rappresentati: viola del pensiero, rosa, fiordaliso, iris margherita e trifoglio c1935

 Stunning set of 6 Art Nouveau tea spoons each of them in different kinds of flower designed by Danish designer Georg Nilsson. The set is originally made by 12 different spoons with 12 different kinds of flowers.

The company Gero is one of the trustful old firm of silver cutlery  in the Netherlands. It had a factory situated in Copenhagen  which opened in 1922 and was transferred in 1933 to Zeist in the Nederlands.

Georg Nilsson was working for Georg Jensen when he was nominated as designer at  the Danish Gero Factory. The pieces produced by the Danish Gero factory were for the Danish market and very distinctive in their design.

 
The mark ’90’ used until 1965 means that 90 grams of silver were used for 12 spoons and 12 forks .

The six spoons have the following flower design:

Violet, Rose, Iris, Cornflower, Daisy & Clover

Beautiful details and excellent condition with very minor wear.

Each spoon is approx 11.8 cm ; total weight 94 grams.
