London shape 1820 porcelain teapot with red transfer under-glaze  and hand painted  floral pattern over the glaze in pink,  yellow, rust orange and blue colours. 

The teapot is un-marked, many important potteries made this kind of teapot, including Coalport, Mason’s, Minton, Newhall and Ridgways.

The teapot has a wishbone handle with finger stop. The internal strainer has 14 holes arranged in a reverse triangle. It is in  good condition, with a minor chip inside the lid, a hairline  on a side of the pot which can be seen on holding the teapot to the light,  some wear of the painting, and some potting stress.
