Victorian EPGS Urn Shaped Tea Caddy Silver Plate c1886 J. Deakin & Sons

Beautiful EPGS (Electroplate German Silver) Tea  Caddy Urn Shaped, made by James Deakin & Sons between 1886 and 1896.

It has a good German Silver patina, that leaves the item good looking where the silver layer is lacking. It has a base with four feet, and a ribbed body which enlarges. The lid presents a rococo style shield, un-monogrammed. The inside is clean.

It is a collectable Victorian item, of stunning elegance.

Good condition with no dents; the silver layer lacking in some points.

Scatola per il tè Vittoriana, realizzata da James Deakin & Sons tra il 1886 e il 1896. Ha una bellissima patina “german silver” che lascia l’oggetto piacevole anche laddove l’argentatura è mancante. Oggetto da collezione di grande eleganza. Buone condizioni, senza ammaccature. Lo strato di aregntatura è mancante in qualche punto.
