A beautiful set of eight dessert spoons and eight dessert forks in excellent original condition, all by the same maker.

This rare set, made c 1880’s by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, is in the sought after Albany Pattern, a late nineteenth century patternwith a traditional sleek looking handle. A Victorian design that’s still very popular today.

No wear, no silver loss. Very light scratches due to polishing and use.

Each fork is 18 cm long and 2.3 cm wide and weighs approx 46 grams.

Each spoon is 18 cm long and 4.2 cm wide and weighs approx 58 grams.

Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, a large business of retail jewelers and silversmiths established in 1880 in London, 112 Regent Street. The original partners were William Gibson and John Lawrence Langman. In 1898 the firm converted into a limited liability company under the style Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. The firm was amalgamated in 1952 in Garrard & Co Ltd.
