A cut glass inkwell with hinged silver London 1897 lid in beautiful condition, mounted on a silver plate Victorian tray with embossed edges bearing shells in a early Victorian style, with four rococo feet. Both the elements (the bottle and the tray) are in excellent condition, the tray is made in a high quality standard and the bottle fits in it properly. The lid is perfect, and is hallmarked London 1897 either on the lid and on the collar in which the lid is hinged, and GB maybe for the Silversmith George Bedingham.

It is a beautiful collectable antique item.

Bellissimo calamaio di cristallo con coperchio in argento punzonato Londra 1897, montato su una base di Sheffield con bordi decorati con conchiglie e quattro piedini rococo. Un calamaio in condizioni perfette, in tutte le sue parti, coperchio, boccetta e vassoio sottostante. La boccetta si inserisce perfettamente e il coperchio incernierato funziona propriamente. Si tratta di un oggetto antico di epoca vittoriana, da collezione, e di fattura squisita.
