I colori delicati, il rigo giallo di contorno che si allarga nei due piccoli manici, le stesse dimensioni ridotte, e la sua forma particolare, fanno di questo pezzo di porcellana di Shelley un oggetto da collezione.

This is a lovely delicate fluted pin tray from Shelley. It is decorated with a flowery meadow of blue crocuses and daffodils of various shades of yellow, with a background of sprouted trees. It is perfect – no chips, cracks, repairs.The soft colors, the yellow rim that extends in two small handles, its small size, and its peculiar shape, make this piece of Shelley porcelain a collector’s item.

Shelley china is undoubtedly the best representative of the Staffordshire England potteries, perhaps the epitome of all bone china.
